The Howard School provides internet access to all faculty, staff and students of The Howard School and approved guest. All traffic is monitored and recorded. App usage is also tracked. Usage requires that a security certificate is installed on your device. Installation instructions are provided below. More detailed instructions are available here.
All users of The Howard School internet service must sign in using their Google account.
Guest may request an account login from the front desk.
Download the certificate here within Safari.
Click Allow when prompted to allow the download of the configuration profile.
Click Close.
Open the Settings App and click on Profile Download.
Click Install in the top right corner.
Enter your pin and click Install two more times.
please note - you must have a screen pattern lock or password on your device to be able to install the certificate.
Download the certificate from here. Open with defaults.
At the Name the certificate screen give the certificate a name (whatever you like) and press the OK button.
Firefox users need to manually install the certificate into the browser.

Open the Firefox Preferences/Settings.
Click on Privacy & Security.
Scroll down to the Certificates section and click View Certificates...
Click Import and select the downloaded certificate.
Check both Trust settings and click OK.
